Mykola Nedilko was born in the village of Yushchenkivka, Sumy region, Ukraine in 1902. Painter and stage designer. Graduated from the Ukrainian State Art Institute in Kyiv in 1928 where he studied in the studios of F. Krychevsky, M. Boichuk and L. Kramarenko. Worked as a set designer and painter with the State Opera and Musical Comedy Theatre in Kyiv. In 1940 Nedilko was sent by the Artists’ Union to Lviv from where he left for Germany in 1944 and emigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1948. In 1961 he moved to New York. Nedilko's solo exhibitions took place in New York (1962, 1965, 1966, 1980), Paris (1965), Philadelphia (1966), Edmonton and Toronto (1988). Selected collections include: Ukrainian Canadian Art Foundation, Toronto and the Ukrainian Museum in New York. Nedilko died in Glen Cove, New York in 1979.
