Ukrainian photo-artist Daria Tischenko-Zhuravel captures elaborate fashion portraits that appear to look like paintings. Tischenko-Zhuravel focuses on the emotions of her models as revealed in their expressions, demeanor and movements. The strength and power of her photographs is derived from her rigorous commitment to simplicity and the truth of moment. Embracing the axiom that true beauty lies within, it is this inner beauty that Tischenko-Zhuravel strives to reveal in her works. Somewhat paradoxically, she is able to enrich her images by keeping them deliberately simple and natural. 

Tischenko-Zhuravel was born in 1985 in Kyiv, Ukraine. The artist works in the field of photography, painting and video art. A member of numerous national and international exhibitions and ART-plein-airs since 2008, her works are included in many private and corporate collections worldwide.  Tischenko-Zhuravel lives and works in Kyiv, Ukraine.
